Homemade almond milk
10 mins
Easy
Ingredients
1 cup of almonds
3-4 cups of water
How to make:
1 First soak in the almonds in cold water in advance for 8-12 hours, and it is advisable to change the water at least once.
2 Then wash the almonds well and put them in a blender. Pour 3-4 cups of water over them
3 Blend until it becomes a milky white fluid.
4 Then use a nut-milk bag or cheesecloth to squeeze well. You can save the remaining almond pulp for another recipe. Pour almond milk into a glass bottle (if you have one) and put it in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Consume with love!
Good to know
- You can add a few dates, maple syrup, coconut sugar, stevia or other sweetener for more sweetness.
- You can also add cocoa, vanilla or coconut oil.
- You can use strainer if you do not have a nut-milk bag or cheesecloth.
