Vegan Nutella with dates
How to make
1 You need to soak the hazelnuts for 8-12 hours in advance, and it is good to change the water at least once.
2 Then drain and wash the hazelnuts thoroughly.
3 Soak the dates in warm water. If they are firmer, leave them for 20 minutes. If they are softer, leave them for 10 minutes.
4 Preheat your oven to 180 degrees, place hazelnuts in a baking dish and roast for 15 minutes. Be careful not to burn them.
5 Remove the hazelnuts and let them cool down for 10 minutes.
6 Take a clean kitchen cloth and put warm hazelnuts in it. Rub them well. The idea here is to remove the skin.
7 Then put them in the blender with the dates and the cocoa. Blend well. Add 1-2 cups of water to them, depending on how thick you want your mixture (the Nutella) to be.
Voilà, you now have delicious, easy-to-cook Nutella without added white refined sugar. Consume with love!
